Legal streaming websites limit their subtitle options, while pirate streams are more likely to give you every possible language under the sun. I guess there must be some business perspective behind this, avoiding choice paralysis for the consumer? It's pretty silly that I *have* to pirate stuff when I *want* to pay.

Good point. In a more specific manner, I was thinking of subs that are available officially.nnLegal websites love to gate language to your country of residence regardless of availability. i.e., I tried to watch an anime (which obviously must have Japanese subs) and the only subs Prime offered were in my mother tongue.
