Gonna make it a mission of mine in 2025 to kill the "users don't care about decentralization" talking point. We can & will build apps with great UX while preserving decentralization/security *even if* users say they don't care. Because users do care about not getting rugged.

There was a concern that 'The Merge' wouldn't be be delivered as it was too complex and miners would just play games and "stall" the transition. Reality: The Merge happened flawlessly on September 15th, 2022 thanks to a novel mechanism called Terminal Total Difficulty (TTD).

Observations after a weekend in the Ripple trenches: - Ripple memecoins are nascent, and trail far behind Solana et al in adoption - DeFi/"web3" infrastructure is decent; so far, low TVL AMMs that work pretty well - XRPL.EVM is sound; nice to use MetaMask; adoption path.

To build the best ai games they need to have open infrastructure and data standards. Ironically this is exactly what blockchains are - all calls done via rpc. Agents can self generate and understand, contextualise games instantly built on this substrate.
