someone should do decentralized github. Yes, git is decentralized but the issue tracking etc provided by github stores a lot of the knowledge of the software on it and that is centralized. 

there is a reason linux is developed just with git+patch-emails

Here is an on-chain implementation done last year by InvArch team called GitArch. I can check with Gabe their CTO that built it if anyone is interested in testing it out or help contribute to the project
