What is woyo?
The Woyo are a subgroup of the Kongo people. Their territory is limited to the Lulondo river in the North and the Luibi river in the east. Woyo masks are carved for the ritual dances of the "Ndunga", a male society responsible for maintaining social order.

Where is the woyo tribe located?
the Democratic Republic of the Congo
A small tribe located both in the Democratic Republic of the Congo and in Cabinda (province of Angola), the Woyo live on the Atlantic Ocean coast, north of the estuary of the Zaire River.
