We take YouTube for granted but the scale is insane, and changes like this can piss off so many people if you don't nail it. I like the change!

Cue joke about googlers changing one button color every six months.

in the YT music app they changed the player to this weird red but a subtle gradient towards the current timestamp and every time I see it I feel like my screen is dying in that one area

I do like the idea of the gradient on more solid greater than 1 pixel tall elements and outlines though gives it a nice look 😆
