Every time I check twitter/X, it feels like there's so much drama out of nothing. Maybe it's the algorithm, because it rewards people with more views and likes when they're beefing, so everyone wants to be in the middle of drama

I still don't understand the appeal of that platform. It seems like everyone I talk to who are heavy users of it are terminally sad or anxious about the future or something I've never heard about that is probably irrelevant to life

Yeah, true...

But to be honest, I've also heard positive things - mostly from people who are super careful with their likes and interactions there. That helps shape the algorithm, and for them, it could be a decent news feed.
