initial idea: wednesday evening
start work: friday morning
ship: friday evening
first 1000s users impacted: 3 hours after launch

i used to spend weeks on features that would get minimal traction (account sharing, engagement boosting hacks)

good reminder that you actually get better and better with releasing new stuff and there is always something with the highest EV to work on

But you also have the distribution, the number of eyeballs that you never had before…

i wish distribution would always convert to traction :)

reality is that if you build stuff that people don’t care about, even with large distribution it will flop
