Just realized I now associate “computer takes a while to do a thing” with a special or high quality interaction. Means something real is happening ChatGPT responses, minting / onchain tx, etc.

Back in the days when I worked as full stack developer, sometimes we built in an artificial wait time in API call handlers to take longer to make it feel more important
