🆕⭐️Breaking News: My golden banana didn’t make the cut for the open call. 🍌 But honestly, I had so much fun creating this piece. Sometimes art is about making yourself smile—even if it doesn’t end up taped to the walls of the art world. For now, I’ll just keep worshipping my banana in private 😄💙 With this work, I elevate our beloved banana to the status of a sacred icon, merging ultra-contemporary art with classic biblical representation. Maurizio Cattelan’s conceptual piece Comedian takes on new ironic significance, disrupting the traditional imagery of religious art as a satire on irrational worship. The viewer, silenced by duct tape, reflects the often-muted voices of authentic artists in an art world where only a select few are heard. Presented as if displayed in a prestigious gallery, complete with a nameplate, the work also plays with notions of ego and recognition.
