Most people I know in crypto all have Farcaster accounts, but they’re not active here. With @newcaster, every active Farcaster user can invite friends for free, but only 63 invites were claimed last week. If we’re focusing on crypto folks, the fee isn’t an issue. But for non-crypto users, do we have any standout features to get their attention now?

We are about to abuse your service. We came up with a strategy to onboard @rodeodotclub artists who aren’t on Farcaster and @awedjob.eth started a new channel called /roundup to welcome them and help bring them into the fold. Stay tuned as we FAFO and experiment.

I'd bid $newcaster if there was a collective voting system we could use to onboard X top demanded people per day with incentives for them to join

I think the main opportunity right now is with improving user retention. Small changes like optimizing channel permissions and helping new accounts gain reach and discovery could make a huge difference. I’ve personally onboarded so many creatives to the network but a lot of them drop off because they still feel like they’re shouting into the void especially in the beginning whoch imo is just poor onboarding. Also, the following lists and the following feed could use some refinement, they feel a bit off at the moment and might benefit from more thoughtful curation or personalization.
