News ๐Ÿ“ฃ I just read on ARTnews that Allison Glenn is going to be the curator for the fourth Toronto Biennial in 2026, and I think itโ€™s pretty cool! The eventโ€™s set to run from September to December 2026, and Glennโ€™s gonna lead the whole thing. Sheโ€™s planning to work with her team on public art projects that connect with different generations and tackle big, current issues. Sheโ€™s already got experience from stuff like the Counterpublic Triennial 2023, and since she grew up in Detroit, sheโ€™s got this cultural tie to Canada that could help her vibe with local and international artists. Honestly, I feel like this could turn into a really exciting art event! Let me know if you want me to dig deeper into anything specific!

There was no time for hatred, for death would have prevented me from it, and life was not broad enough to put an end to my hatred. There was no time for love either, but since an effort was required, I thought, a little suffering from love would suffice.

๐ŸŽจ Wellington Harbour, 1894 by James Nairn ๐Ÿ‡ณ๐Ÿ‡ฟ oil on panel, 22.8 x 33.6 cm Museum of New Zealand Te Papa Tongarewa, New Zealand About the artwork: The painting depicts Wellington Harbour, likely featuring the play of light on the water and the activity around the harbour. Nairn's use of color would be vibrant and expressive, reflecting the natural beauty and dynamic environment of the harbour.

The evolution of artist Mark Spurgeon Iโ€™m read about article was about Mark Spurgeon, an artist who started with traditional painting and has now moved into digital art. He began with pencil and oil paintings, but with the rise of technology, he switched to digital tools like tablets and software. What stands out in his work is how heโ€™s always exploring human identityโ€”like every line and color is saying something about who we are. I think itโ€™s cool how technology has helped him make his ideas bigger and more detailed, kind of like a bridge between tradition and the modern world. What do you think about his style shift?
