Who is writing on multiple platforms and how do you decide what to post on each? Is anyone duplicating content or do you have different content for different platforms? I've been writing a substack for the past year. Farcaster Fall was my catalyst for finally publishing a single essay to Paragraph. So now what? 🤔

I love this so much!! I have a folder on my phone with >700 photos with things like this. Here’s one of my recent ones from “Inheriting the War: prose and poetry from decedents of Vietnam vets & refugees” Reading it has been very helpful to unpack my family history and recognise the criticality of protesting war

I love this book channel, but I would also love a feed purely of book _excerpts_. Screenshots of passages, quotes, idea fragments, and other inspiration from whatever people are reading, etc. Could that live within this channel, or is that too much its own thing?

Thank you ❤️ I was writing about a raw emotion, and it definitely feels so different now ☺️ In fact even just after writing it felt very different, in many ways that’s the power of poetry for me. It provides a space for me to express and explore even really difficult emotions in a healing way.

For sure, proximity helps so much. It’s very hard as an adult because you just don’t get to see people regularly, and even worse if you’ve moved

TIL that social connection is more impactful to human well-being than nutrition or exercise. As an introvert who has downplayed connection with people as a “nice to have but only after copious amounts of solitude” in my many years of mental health strategizing, I’m not sure how to integrate this info.

I find Maslow’s hierarchy pretty accurate for my life, food & safety as baseline but right after that connection. I find connection is where the meaning comes from after the necessities are met. Agreed though as an introvert it’s hard, I’ve found a small number of meaningful relationships works best for me.

Finding it was also one of the biggest occasions of synergy in my life. I had cold emailed an author about applying Restorative Justice to online communities I found a reference to this in a paper on Spirituality in the 21st century and ordered it That same day the author emailed me saying this book is revolutionary

Has anyone read Reinventing Organizations by Frederic Laloux? This book crumbled my understanding of what organizations could be and rebuilt it in the most beautiful and inspiring way possible. If anyone knows of any organizations that operate this way that are hiring 👀👀👀

When I write prose I feel as if it has to be tied off neatly with a conclusion but with poetry I can let out all the emotions and just let them sit there and hope it resonates with others without feeling a need to offer a solution

But they are still non-essential goods so with the current economy we are definitely experiencing a downturn with a lot of companies downsizing and R&D projects being defunded so it’s a tough space to be in now
