I have a problem that is interfering with my career. I am afraid/ashamed to say “no” or even ask for payment. Some kind of internal barrier that makes me a wimp in the eyes of my boss and a sycophant or even worse a slave in the eyes of my employees, because I “I agree to everything, I will do everything, quickly, efficiently and a simple ‘thank you’ is enough for me”. I can easily start arguing with management and directing department employees, but when it comes to pay..... It's embarrassing to ask for money...
