one of my favorite animal facts is that tigers evolved to be orange bc mammals canβt create green fur, but since most of the tigerβs prey are colorblind dichromats for whom orange looks the same as green, the orange and black striped tigers are camouflaged in the tall green grass from the animals they want to hunt.
