what is the golden standard for self custody personal setups these days?

ive been thinking about this since you casted this and i realized one of the reasons i havent fully shifted to using rainbow browser extension is im not sure theyre as battle tested as metamask when it comes to generating and securing keys

same goes for zerion/uniswap/xyz wallets

the more i think about it, the more i want to just move all cold storage to an AA wallet thats tied to something "more" secure. i would honestly rather have a FaceID wallet with perhaps a recovery scheme than some new SW/HW wallet

yeah I feel in a similar way

everything you have being secured by only one private key feels unnecessarily risky, even if it works 99.99% of the time

redundancy please
