How great these Polish dishes are!!.
Here in my country, it is a very carnivorous culture. Therefore, all parts of the cattle are consumed, including what are called "achuras".
For example, with the brains of the cow, they usually prepare salads or ravioli fillings.
What you call Kaszanka, here is called "morcilla". Better not even ask what they make it with, haha 🤪.
What you call Flaczki, here is known as "mondongo". It is usually prepared in a stew.
Maybe you can send us a picture of yourself, when you make one of your favorite Polish dishes!!
Please remember: we share our own images, nothing from AI or the internet!

I didn't expect that these dishes would also be known in other parts of the world.
Unfortunately, as is often the case, "it's delicious" is a subjective matter. Nobody in my house likes kaszanki or flaczki, so it will be difficult to take photos of how I prepare it😂
However, there is one that can probably be called the flagship dish in Poland, i.e. kotlet schabowy z ziemniakami i kapustą zasmarzaną*. Everyone likes it, so maybe I'll introduce it someday.
*kotlet schabowy z ziemniakami i kapustą zasmarzaną - It's hard to translate it in one sentence to make it clear what it is, maybe someday. However, it is a simple dish, served in every restaurant, both cheap and expensive. 0 reply
