The golden nanmu revolving sutra made 600 years ago can still be rotated [In the Baoen Temple in Pingwu, Sichuan, there is a huge revolving sutra, which was built in the 11th year of the Zhengtong Period of the Ming Dynasty (1446 AD). It is 11 meters high, 7 meters in diameter, and covers an area of 22 square meters. People standing in front of it look very small. This is the most complete revolving sutra in China. It has survived many major earthquakes in history, especially the 512 earthquake, and it is intact. It is a miracle. It is also the only revolving sutra in the Ming Dynasty that can still be rotated normally. Rotating the revolving sutra once is equivalent to reading a Buddhist scripture. "If one can push it once with faith, it is equal to the merit of reciting the sutra; if one can rotate it without counting, the merit obtained is equal to reading a large Buddhist canon."
