Think right now it shows preview as crop from top 

Makes posting a vert vid here max pain

@matthewfox — For this specific video I am seeing square on the feed on both mobile & web. Does that not match what you are seeing? (It would be good to know.) Generally agree on your other comments on media renders. Need to do better on how videos and images are presented in the feed and thread views.
