Today, @coinbasedev is announcing x402: an open standard/protocol to bring onchain payments to the web. Join us in killing the API key, and making the agentic and payable web a reality. All in one line of code.

Imagine a future where crypto is the default to pay for *anything*.

We think agents will make independent decisions on what developer tooling to use when building software.

As a result, all Neynar APIs now accept micro crypto payments. No need to
- create a developer account
- create API key
- give API key to LLM agent

If building on Farcaster or Base, any LLM agent with a crypto wallet can now ping our APIs, send USDC on @base and get back an API response.

Great thread. Out of curiosity, where on the spectrum would you put me? (just looking for an outside perspective)

We've been building a Grok like agent for Farcaster (name TBD). 

*Have an alpha version that we would like to trial with a few users now* 

Requirements:
- You already use Grok on X repeatedly and can give good examples of how you use it, ideally screenshare some conversations
- Are open to using Neynar LLM and giving feedback to our team, we will create individual chats for each tester so there's no risk of too much noise
- In some cases, are open to jumping on a 10 min call to dive deeper 

If there's a lot of responses, we will trial in waves. When launched, safe to assume that we will have related developer APIs that can be used to integrate this agent into other products and mini apps.
