two years ago i tore my ACL, went through surgery, and spent over a year rehabbing. i wasn't sure i'd come back to serious ultimate (im 37 years old — well past my prime). i did end up playing that season, but at reduced capacity. this weekend i was back on the field at full strength to help lead my team to a 4-2 record and a spot at Regionals. if you're dealing with injuries, i feel you and i believe if you do the right things every day you'll get through em. and if life's good, take a sec to enjoy it cuz its pretty fucking cool that we get so much joy out of just running around playing made-up games with other ppl. as they say: a healthy person wants a thousands things, a sick person wants only one ↑

this week i worked on two big internal rewrites for /cabin. the goal was to move semi-broken semi-onchain features to working offchain versions first, our stamps (which were Otterspace badges) got moved to be entries in our db second, we now store images in Cloudflare rather than IPFS
