quail are so domesticated at this point that they're missing many of their natural instincts. most won't even sit on their own eggs anymore to incubate them

I once read that ducks imprint on the first thing they see when they are born. Is it the same with Quails?

way easier. after the first two months of incubating + growing, they just live in a giant box and you feed em and give em water and they're totally self-sufficient. no noise, no mess, no fuss.

Are quails more or less more challenging to farm than chickens?

its fun though. we did it last year, so we've got the process pretty nailed down

Probably a much easier method to getting some. Those suckers fly fast.
