The vibes are worsening here lately.

I don’t mean the spammy newcomers. I’m talking about some of y’all. 🫵

Numbers we each value differently are rapidly going up. Social metrics, portfolio values, DAUs, etc.

It’s exciting but some of us are turning into the Twitter influencers we once vocally rejected.

this isn’t a hot take, just factual. 

the biggest thing I’m seeing on this front is FOMO-driven behaviors. 

I will continue to maintain that we should all simply seek to find cool shit, build cool shit, and engage authentically. 

frankly, it is all qualitative, seeking to quantify FC as a user is a losing game.
