this was fun! is the very first word it gives you a hint or is that random? I was tripped up by that first word and the *** (I assumed it was 3 letters for several guesses, until the math for numbers going up or down didn’t work)

damn I started off the same way as bodegacat, swear I’m not a bot

I'm going to work on the labeling for tomorrow's word. But the first word is like the Category and the three dots are replaced with hints as you make more guesses. Thanks for playing and for your feedback!
