As Gramsci said, the old world is dying, and the new world cannot be born. https://www.ft.com/content/d11fa816-0c8f-4c79-abb0-8523dd2ecfe4

"...now is the time of monsters." or "..and in this chiaroscuro the monsters emerge." the latter is a per word translation, I guess the former is the translation that people uses but I love the sound of the chiaroscuro word cannot read the article without paying but hopefully we don't end in the same way like the last time gramsci words were valid.. the world cannot resist a fascism dictatorship and the consequent world war with nuclear weapons.. certainly.. if I have to choose between a racist maga world and the tech world.. I would choose the tech one.. but I have too many doubts about the skills of some techie leaders.. they are far away to know how the 90% of the people is doing.. they are a elite with high salaries and very disconnected from the society.. (some casts here are enough to prove that..people are numbers for them) they lack some empathy most of the time.. and technoburoucreacy + fascism dictatorship + AI is the end of "free" world.. I am sure about it.. then, the system will implode..

Artificial intelligence can become a highly powerful tool for oppression in the hands of a government. After the 2011 protests, the Chinese government equipped the country with AI-powered cameras to easily identify and arrest anyone participating in gatherings or protests, which proved highly effective. In the current state of AI and technology, imagining such a scenario in democratic countries might seem far-fetched. However, on a large scale and with advanced equipment, the outcome could be very different.
