every Ethereum RPC provider seems to support batching but advise against using it

can anyone add more color here or give a use case where you think it's useful?

We don’t advise against, we actually do it by default if you use the sdk

No this is a little different, they’re still individual calls and if they’re transactions they won’t be batched onchain. This is just the requests going to the RPC provider and how they process them. Its mainly useful for reads
