For the RSS fans - I built a light wrapper around Farcaster Hub APIs to easily generate feeds for a user or channel https://feeds.fcstr.xyz/

Open source, no extra dependencies beyond a hub, easy to configure

I don't imagine that happening soon tbh - social usernames are far easier to use with a standard alphabet. For example I wouldn't know how to @ mention you with that username

I do think offchain (including DNS this month) ENS support would be great though

You can’t unfortunately. @neynar has a github repo with common channels

You can get it directly from a hub too https://www.thehubble.xyz/docs/httpapi/casts.html

I know neither of these are user friendly, but wanted to avoid accepting arbitrary channel names in the API for sake of keeping everything vanilla
