Here’s my take on /ethcc and a shift towards hyperlocal events with periodic big events so we can make shit happen!! Free from panel tsunamis and talk-fests. Let’s recalibrate and grt back to deep human connections and building impact.

I dig the shit out of this take on the Gathering Scenius, sounds like there would be vibes with the https://www.regenvillage.brussels/ that we hosted at the Commons

Cosmolocalism is very much the vibe, I like Jordan Halls Civium conceptual architecture (compact IRL with networked digital collab to generate income from the broader culture) and Michelle Bouwens what is heavy is hyperlocal(and specific to the needs of that context) while what is light/digital is collective ownership(non exploitative) and governance(capture resistant) for sure there is a "Gathering Scenius" that affords folks better or worse targets and excuses to come together there is banana's amounts of diversity there that makes it more chaordination than coordination (more happy accidents of things coming together than explicit agreements) The culture that emerges is alive but still struggling with a lack of inhibition

inhibition is for me the thing sings through your write-up it was the things that you chose to do differently, specifically not-do, that leads to this experience of a regulated nervous system pruning is wisdom less is more quality not quantity etc which kind of puts us in a paradox: How is it that we both rely on the emergent chaordination and quit wasting so much time and energy doing so much stupid shit at the same time?

Open Space Technology could use some on-chain empowerment though 1. What's the bat signal that kicks the whole thing off: how might we enable niches to become heavyweights in order to define the central rally point? 2. Semi-sync content collection: what type of stuff do we want both to share(push) and to have shared(pull)? 3. Curation, combination and organization of topics, times and available spaces to enable us to cover as much of this stuff with as many people as we can? 4. Reputation: Attendance meets peer participation and recognition. These folks were there when... 5. Documentation: ... this shit went down. Archival notes, audio, video, links/references, questions, suggestions, ideas, declarations of intent etc 6. Value add marketplace: from digital ephemera in the rivalrous dynamics of the attention economy to the positive sum creation of evermore salient/dense/cogent pieces of media 7. Economics and shit: tipping commitment pools and such
