Will the next breakout crypto app (10M+ users) be built by crypto natives, web2 builders, or former tradfi-ers?

Meta *has* to be planning a release of an L2 at this point. They can't just sit by with Coinbase raking in a ton of profits when they pretty much have the app ready to go. It's shockingly obvious that they're missing out here on one of the most clear business decisions on the planet.

Regulators complained about them making a stablecoin bank, but they can completely circumvent this by integrating an L2 into WhatsApp. It would instantly onboard 3 billion people.

Last time they tried a stunt like that they got bit in the ass pretty hard and rightfully retreated. Meta has too many bets already spread out with AI and XR draining their warchest
