Hey hey Farcaster. Deciding what to build next in the SONGS MiniApp. I’m leaving it up to the Farcaster music community! Mini thread ⬇️🧵 First what is SONGS? /songs-tools is a platform for music artists and fans: For artists: • Create their music projects • Distribute their music to streaming platforms (Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube Music, etc.) • Manage all you music earnings in one unique platform. • Share ownership of music via songshares Songshares: • Are tokens that represent a share of the song’s digital streaming royalties Artists can use them however they want: • Selling part of their songshares to get an advance on their music (like labels do, but decentralized and community-driven). • Send them in exchange for music services • Just present part of your music to someone you love. • Any other stuff you can imagine...

The Fans part: • You can support musicians with real ownership & investment in them. • Buy real parts of real music • Earn streaming royalties with the artist as they do. • Trade with real music, predicting value of music (future)

Now the SONGS Mini App: It focuses on songshares buying (and selling, future) of songshares. Cash out you songshares generated royalties. Stuff done this past week: • Load a song page from the protocol in Farcaster • Play the song directly in the app • Connect your Farcaster wallet • Buy songshares (if the artist has put them on sale) • SONGS home page with a selection of songs Stuff Todo: • List your bought songshares • Last songshares bought list • List your songshares earnings to claim • Any idea (future, launch songshares marketplace for songshares trading & prediction markets in app)
