Ditto. I'm 10 days in. I played with memrise.com for a few minutes and although very similar I somehow felt I was learning faster, albeit with less of the (useful) social pressure

good for hiragana + kanji. but again if you are learning a rather complex language, i think it's nice to be in an IRL learning curve somewhere.
