You ask me who to follow in AI, but don’t even follow me—after I’ve spent two years sharing insights and building a presence on Farcaster. Then, there’s another person who literally copied my following list, recommended others follow me, but when I tried to return the favor? Realized I’m blocked. I guess they just wanted to give the impression they are in the know. I see why so many AI folks have churned ☹︎ I’ll still check in and post occasionally—this isn’t me quitting Farcaster or anything like that, just sharing some 💭 Attached below is one example, but I’ve received plenty of similar messages—some harsher towards farcaster, all eye-opening, all from AI folks. I also made sure they knew I’m still here, just not posting as often. My experience hasn’t been all bad—many from Farcaster have reached out to say they only know what they do about AI because of me and have shared their gratitude. That support is why I still return.

I think you've personally had plenty of good reasons to abandon Farcaster but I'm very grateful you're still giving it a chance. I think I have an idea of bridging the gap between your very future facing shared content and the audience on this platform. Might make it a weekend project for myself!

I’m more of a lurker but have really valued your posting in the channel and have enjoyed sharing links with ML friends quite literally over the years (2 and counting lol) Separately, I understand the feeling: I tried to onboard one of those AI friends and they’ve churned. Tbh I’m not engaging that much either; I just like keeping in touch with the friends I’ve made and the posters who I can’t strictly consider friends but whose posts I nonetheless enjoy

the AI haters here and other places are also a sign you’ve been writing and sharing interesting things, though yeah can imagine it’s not exactly motivational. Count me as a supporter 🫡
