there were several apps last cycle for showcasing ur nft, e.g. gallery.so , w/o interoperability tho lack a big value proposition. 

Granted we also didn't have native social like @farcaster for such show case. 

imo just organizing and showcasing them still more like a feature rather than a comprehensive value proposition for collectors. Need more to create a holistic experience. 

To me the more fundamental q is what are we collecting NFT for? : 

1. to feel a fractional personal connection to the artist; or

2. to preserve a piece of internet culture/history; or

3. for future airdrop or to sell at a higher price
