How do you foster a culture of high standards on your team? Esp curious about small remote teams of equals (eg cofounder-like relationship, not employee/manager)

In tradfi land it’s been 2 things: 1) setting an example of the standards….not just high but making sure people understand the impact of something is not 2) a mutual respect and acknowledgement that life happens….if you give leeway when things are hard and genuinely care, people give more to the team under normal circumstances .
