What if you replaced the bonds entirely with gold…. Similar results for the past 50 or 100 years…

Now that the fiscal situation in the U.S. is this bad, would you rather own bonds or a hard asset like Gold or Bitcoin?

I remember when I first got into investing I bought some bonds and ETFs for S&P. I added metals at some point to invest but it was the start of a pain trade that kind of got me warmed up to crypto. Now I'm very far off the curve being so risk adverse with tech stocks and crypto 😂

I love $btc and $avax and $sol...but I really feel gold and silver are important to hold, even if just a bit.

Absolutely would prefer gold over bonds. Didn't know the numbers aligned that closely.
