iMessage, for example. If you are using an Apple device, you are trusting them already

Right, i don't use apple, but either way, that doesn't give me any more confidence than signal that intelligence agencies aren't inside apple devices, especially considering apple already has cases of the CIA being able to gain access to devices. So it's really, if you use tech, you're probably compromised
