New airdrop meta in Farcaster?

$JAM "Airdrop" is a Scam – here’s why:

The team just redefined the word airdrop to mean "pay us 10x the value of your tokens and pray we don’t rug you." Let’s break down why this is predatory (and possibly illegal):
1. This isn’t an Airdrop – It’s a forced buy-in.
To claim your "free" tokens, you must deposit 10x their value just to unlock them in 7 days (or wait 6 months with a smaller ransom).
2. The team is already dumping (?)
Liquidity isn’t locked. Contract is mintable, contract wallets have been selling tokens before the "claim" even started (check tx history).
They’re literally would like profiting from users buying tokens to "unlock" their own airdrop.
3. No Trust, No Transparency
Devs make rules last minute with zero warning.
Their excuse? "We’re experimenting." Experimenting with exit liquidity from their community.

When will projects start to understand the real value of community trust instead of looking for short-term gain?)

I'm always surprised by such stories of projects, why can't you do normal projects and meet user expectations? 

No one asked to draw these big numbers on our wallets and promise such big airdrop. But they decided to do it and that makes the disappointment even greater. 

I hope that creators of projects will realize how cool the Farcaster community is, that here is really smart people and crypto lovers. We are the people who could pump up their projects and make them great.
But they don't have to fool us))

So friends, we didn't get big airdrop today, but we didn't let ourselves be fooled either.

I am very angry with this kind of projects and how they can easily play with our trust and our money, I was very sorry to see a lot of disappointed people today. To be honest I didn't expect to be able to withdraw any big money as they promised, everything looked too sweet initially🥲

It seems that many projects simply do not believe in their success. They do not think about trust, participation, community support. The main thing is quick hype and beautiful promises.
But when the community has already done everything - distributed, supported, told others - it turns out that there is no drop, because there was not enough budget. Why announce airdrops when you are not ready?

A lot of upset people today from those who supported the project and believed in the airdrop. I feel sorry for our community, such projects devalue the trust of people🥲

It’s very disappointing to hear this kind of news. 🥹 Farcaster is not a huge community and it may seem safer in this setting, but unfortunately, greed knows no bounds ! 😤

Projects do not understand the power of our community and how cool we are, instead of developing their projects thanks to our support and reward us they are trying to get a quick profit and cheat us.

I love our community and I'm sorry that people didn't get the airdrop promised today, but for the future it's a lesson, promises that are too sweet can be a trap.

But I have learnt the lesson.
