I've had the digital nomad option for ten years but have only done it really for the past five months.

The reason is for the first time I'm uninspired and bored with what I'm currently doing. I travel to escape the dread. It's nice, but it's distraction.

If you are working on things that make your heart sing, if you are (psychologically) in a place you don't want to escape from, digital nomading is a pain in the ass more than anything else.
