ENJOY, DEGEN, or MOXIE are not mechanisms that users can 'opt out of', there is no material outside of generalized rewards systems. once they exist, they impact networks & platforms in myriad ways obvious and subtle. 

even a custom farcaster client that hides all degen, ham, or wild tips or a zora interface that hides all enjoy comments would not place users outside the reach of these mechanisms. they impact how other users engage with Farcaster (or Zora), the impact content and mints, and influence how users engage with one another, what & where users post

that's it. 

I understand some people saying "I'm tired and don't wanna be a part of this" and I guess it's ok. I'd say it's an opt out in regards of not engaging in the grind either from the creator or 'investor' side. And an understandable move, it takes lots of effort and attention to play it well regardless of which side. 

But sure enough there's no opt out of the effects these mechanisms bring to the ecosystem. On moxie, it might be for better imo. six said it well the other day with the "ethical farming" talk. I believe it will enhance good quality content.
