I have a college girlfriend who doesn't get in touch
when my life is quiet and calm. She'll find a bunch of reasons, but she doesn't answer her phone. Later she'll say sorry, I was in the shower/toilet. Let me call you tonight. Do I have to say that he does not call back? And this situation can go on for months. I'm used to it. Friendship is a mutual thing. Naturally, I didn't insist and didn't sweat it. But if I have a problem, I can't get rid of her. She'll call morning/afternoon/evening. She'll find reasons to talk for hours, and I don't want to. I'm having a hard time!
