I built Tunecaster to place music at the center of the experience and showcase what’s possible with @neynar infrastructure. I believe channel-based clients can transform channels from simple tags into niche online communities capable of competing with top subreddits and other similar platforms.

That's what catalog.radio was doing before they shut it down. I do have some ideas for experimenting with allowing artists to upload music onchain through Tunecaster, but I still need to think it through a bit more

Right now, all casts on tunecaster.xyz come from /music. The main difference is that we also have a trending + curated feed, and you can listen to the music directly in-feed through the native players of the service you choose to share

Nice - does this work similar to sonata in that you can post songs on here that are uploaded onto it, or does it work as it's own social platform?
