Both the SAAR and 6-month trend of #HousingStarts declined in August by 22% and 2.9%, respectively. This was due to a 13% decrease in total housing starts in Canada’s urban centres in August on a year-over-year basis, driven by 19% fewer multi-unit starts. /3
