Why is the food in most of the Europe so terrible? And the service with it. I got so spoiled in California.

Opposite to my experience too. I went to some decent restaurants in the US, but that was the exception, and when you factor in the price it’s often comical 😃 Bologna or San Sebastian are basically food paradise capitals IMO

Touché 😃 I meant SF, LA, NY. Great food was usually by recommendation. May be the same in Europe :) Although a recent highlight in terms of michelin star quality for a laughable cost for some reason was Warsaw. 🤷♂️

Considering that SF has the most michelin stars per capita, hardly possible. NYC also has incredible food almost regardless where you go. I lived in a lot of the places in Europe and I was with the locals each time. The food is just not good.
