We should think about finding public goods funding sustainability like modern SaaS. May seem uncouth to frame donations/donors w/ metrics like cost of acquisition, customer lifetime value, & churn, but the playbook works. I believe Streaming Quadratic Funding will be the tool to unlock this model for public goods.

Next week, EIP-4844 will make opening a donation stream that updates the continuous, theoretically optimal public goods matching funds allocation for infinitely scalable quadratic funding rounds less expensive than the credit card fee on buying a Diet Coke. Probably nothing.

The things we care most about are only becoming more network-based. It will be obvious in retrospect that property rights and market designs that account for incentives in networks aren't just "more fair," but will outcompete traditional designs. It will be like looking back at feudalism.

At our core, we're creating public consensus for geospatial AR (onchain), and our contracts just use WGS. We've talked about funding a map-to-earn pubic good with our PCO market. Regardless we'd be eager users of that kind of dynamic, real-world data onchain as context for the Cadastre (geoweb.land) & AR SLAM.
