One advantage of NFTs for owning artworks. → From individual to community! NFTs present a transformative advantage over traditional art objects. They enable easy fractional ownership. My networked sculpture INTERFACE#ef consists of two NFTs on the tezos chain. Both files can be owned by 50 persons each. There will never be a single collector or institution that owns the entire work; instead, a community of individuals will each own a fragment of it. I absolutely dig this! This capability significantly broadens the accessibility of art as a cultural good and its ownership. Getting physical with my work → "gestures - songs of algorithm" Always love the process of integrating digital data into physical space. Suddenly there are haptic qualities like the rough surface of the grey cardboard contrasting the smoothness of the touch screens. #transsubstantiation
