Every permissionless protocol have its cryptokitties moment. You cannot stop people to do those things unfortunately, unless you need to ask permission to someone. Every chain experience spam at some point, only the tough one survive.

Not surprising data. Degen has been driving growth more than frames but I do think that first spike in February was more about frames than degen

crypto driving the growth of a social network that enables permissionless crypto things... not a major shock, right? bigger challenge is sustaining that growth also, frames drew a lot of attention for nft ux and other fun mini apps, that spike was earned by the founders and devs
