it's actually the image request that does the heavy lifting here, png generated on the fly at the URL, so the frame responds immediately

anecdotally - haven't yet encountered a timeout on the image request!

curious did you have to do any optimizations to fetch the data + render < 5secs?

I like this but I think the X scale is off. The dead zone was >a week ago, more like >a month ago
