Every season in Japan has its own unique charm, but this time of year is one of the best. The cherry blossoms are blooming, the weather is warming up, and people are out partying. Here are some suggestions for activities.

Meiji Jingu, a shrine near venerable Harajuku. It is easily accessible and good for a short stroll. The back side of the shrine is not allowed to be in the shrine area, but actually many new species of organisms have been discovered. One beautiful Galapagos.

Tokyo Tower. It is a radio tower that became unnecessary after the Skytree Tower was built, but I personally think Tokyo Tower is more atmospheric. It was built after the Eiffel Tower and has a certain nostalgia. Director Anno of Shin Evangelion is also a favorite.

Roppongi, depending on your preference. There are clubs for foreigners. Roppongi is also home to the Mori Art Museum and the New National Museum. If you have a chance, you may be able to see contemporary art.

If you want to see traditional Japan, Asakusa and Sensoji are also good. You can see people wearing kimonos and ride on a rickshaw in the downtown area. Tempura, sukiyaki, eel, etc. are delicious.

For a more secluded experience, take a stroll around the Nezu Museum, Aoyama or Omotesando area. There are also some hideaway cafes. It may be a little crowded on weekends.

There is the famous Scramble Crossing in Shibuya and the yakuza district of Kabukicho in Shinjuku, where mischief is not allowed. It is safe, though. And Ginza, with its upscale boutiques and such, is a town I'm not familiar with. But I am not familiar with it. But there are some good Japanese sweets stores in Ginza.
