Poll to increase ham to 250K for daily allo... I voted NO--not for my benefit--250K is fine w/ me. We need MORE people using HAM. This would be an INSIDER move--more fun, exciting, & valuable for an even smaller group of people (including me). We need to make OUTSIDER-friendly decisions & make onboarding welcoming

Hey dude!! In the hamliest (that’s ham+friendly btw) way possible, I’m going to push back a little just to play devil’s advocate. Everyone already benefits from ham because at any time they can receive on-chain ham tips. By requiring a 250K allotment, it helps to eliminate low-quality casts and engagement. I remember when 1 🍖 = 100 ham points and how crazy that all was before ham chain went live. If the allotment is too low then anyone and everyone will flood the timelines for ham scraps. We want ham meals: high quality ham casts, ham castooors and ham replyooors. I don’t think we get ham meals by giving everyone access to it. Quality engagooors can earn about ~100K ham per month (about what I’ve received). In 2.5 months they’re there. But if they want to fast track their ability to tip, they can buy it. (Right now it would only cost $104.50 USD.) In a way, this system is kinda like a power badge but way better and more hammier lol

Love the push back and discussion! Thanks. You've got me thinking... So, I would say the #1 thing by far HAM needs is better content and posts that get tipped and get rid of all the riff-raff....so totally with you there. 👊 So, you're point is let's make the tippers smaller group and more powerful and let the onboarding be coming in and create good content and get tipped and then work your way to an allo....I love that if it would work that way. You've got me thinking....but I don't know if you've persuaded me yet. I don't know what the best way to get great content is and make the switch from where we are now, yours is an interesting argument. Love convos like this in ham...about how to make it a better use case. 🫡
