my only issue with funding projects with fees generated from trading is - it is not sustainable. 

if it works, it only works for the biggest of the coins.

Agreed. I think team allocations are good as long as they’re not more than like 10-12%

You want more than a 50% float (and really more like 80%+ ) at launch for experimental projects imo. Would be cool to see more fair launches with small team allocations

if you’re launching an app coin you need a team allocation.

for memes its fine, maybe even preferable.
