Smart Wallets only serve people who have never used crypto They don't serve 99% of people who have been onchain before and are active onchain daily or weekly If we want Smart Wallets to get adopted then we should make them work for the people that are actually active onchain

So far smart wallet just == passkeys signer but they're so much more They unlock a whole world of use cases for people already onchain including: DCAing, subscriptions, zkEmail recovery, key rotation / native multisigs, automated defi strategies, and more 🔜

Yeah that's true but they force you to start over with a new wallet and provide no way to connect your EOA wallets to preserve history/activity/etc Even if that happens, most apps won't be able to see what wallets are connected to a smart wallet that signs into an app to preserve identity or history

EIP-7702, which is going into the next hardfork, will give you everything except native multisigs / key rotation and you preserve identity / history Long term there's EIPs to convert your EOA into a smart account Short term losing identity / history will be the price you pay if you want the benefits of a smart wallet
