Developers and network effects. I always thought farcaster would hit PMF once > 2 very different apps built on top of the network (twitter/reddit) reinforce each other. I thought paragraph conversations came close. Receipts interesting but fitness may be too small. Has to be social. I think options are - communities (discord) - niches (Reddit) - discovery (Pinterest) - search (real time Google) How about the Warpcast team maintains Warpcast but takes a big bet on client #2? Another completely line of thinking: why did Bluesky grow? Seems the answer is pick a massive and cultural stance (they picked political left). Canât think of one that works tho, right is taken by X, left is bs, you have crypto but thatâs too small.

Bsky chose the correct growth axis (political) and did not have the baggage of crypto (post-FTX).

So the question is : how to extend crypto and Ethereum in an easyer way for the public. Right now I think warpcast is highly complicated for a non crypto person. Maybe rodeo could give some directions : --> warpcast needs better UX design --> networks with the most traction include a vision of social design , new forms of interactions between people

On rodeo buttons are animated and more subtile, on Instagram theres an animated gradient when you scroll DMS, the warpcast icon gives a basic impression where it should convey style and innovation. But most of all it hasn't completely nailed the social design part. What is the vision for new social interactions ? (This is where promoting VIPs fails at the end. ) Deeper thinking on this could be bring interesting results.

i disagree, it makes sense for social media platforms like Instagram to do it because they want to attract attention and you know what they do with it, they sell it to earn money

Yet I do think the whole point of the discussion here for Farcaster and Warpcast is how to attract and maintain attention. And probably to earn money, even if it does with different tools than ads đ
